Author BIO
Bruce Jenks
I’m a Bachelor of Science in US History, a library office assistant and public history writer.
My specialties in the field of history are US History, the American West, the Reconstruction Era, and Hawaiian History. My approach to research is to use a place-based lens and to investigate the intersections of class, gender, and race.

As someone who dropped out of high school and went to college on and off from the ages of 25-40 while working for a living, I know education is a labor issue.
